Welcome to DevMate Mentors ("the Platform"). We provide placement preparation utilities including AI Mock Interviews, resume ATS compatibility checks, project architecture generation, and MCQ practices. By creating an account or accessing the Platform, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service.

Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must be a student enrolled in a recognized educational institution or a registered independent candidate preparing for job placements. You agree to provide true, accurate information (including your real name, email, and campus code if applicable) during signup.

AI Quotas & Usage Limits

To maintain stable backend server performance for 1,000+ concurrent students, we enforce daily and hourly limits on computationally expensive AI operations:

  • Mock Interview Quotas: Free student accounts receive 3 mock placement interviews per day. These quotas reset at 00:00 UTC. Unused quotas do not carry over to the next day.
  • Resume & ATS Limits: ATS compatibility checks are limited to 5 requests per hour. System resources will block further analysis requests if this limit is breached.
  • Premium Upgrade: Institutional codes or direct subscription upgrades grant higher or unlimited quotas matching your package description.

Single-Device Session Rules

To maintain account integrity and verify that proctoring analytics belong to the actual candidate:

  • Sharing login credentials with other students is strictly prohibited.
  • Automatic Invalidation: Our token verification checks allow only one active concurrent session. If you log in to your account from a new browser or device, the active session on your previous device is instantly invalidated and logged out.
  • If suspicious, multi-IP concurrency triggers repeatedly on your account, the Platform reserves the right to lock the profile pending TPO or admin review.

Automation Prohibitions

Our mock placement systems are built for real human training. Any automated scraping, scripting, bot submissions, or API reverse-engineering is strictly banned:

  • You must not write scripts to automate MCQ completions, auto-submit resumes, or simulate interview recordings.
  • Violating this policy will result in immediate and permanent account suspension without refund or appeal.

Liability & Guarantees

DevMate Mentors provides placement simulation feedback based on machine-learning heuristics. While our rubrics align closely with corporate expectations (TCS, Infosys, etc.), we do not guarantee actual job placement, recruiter interviews, or specific grades on official corporate assessment platforms.
